Dr. Kecia DeCosta Ford is a transformative leader whose ministry, scholarship, and apostolic mandate equip believers to walk in purpose with clarity, courage, and excellence. She serves as the Senior Pastor of The Kingdom Experience Int'l, after previously pastoring the historic Sharp Street United Methodist Church of Sandy Spring. Her ministry voice extends globally as the featured pastor on the television series Kingdom Living Now with Dr. Kecia Ford.
Consecrated as a Bishop in August 2022 and affirmed as an Apostle in July 2018, Dr. Ford's ministry is anchored in Matthew 9:37–38 — her lifelong call to raise laborers for the Kingdom. Her mission is to prepare, inspire, encourage, train, and equip people to fulfill God-ordained purpose in every dimension of life.
Dr. Ford is the Founder of The Equipping Institute — "Where Faith Meets Knowledge and Skill." This global equipping center provides transformative training for ministry and life, empowering individuals from around the world with biblical, spiritual, and practical tools for effective Kingdom impact.
Her evangelistic reach spans the United States, South America, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. As President & CEO of The Preaching Institutes (formerly Beautiful Feet Women's Preaching Institute), she leads conferences, seminars, and publications that enhance the ministerial skills of women in ministry. She serves as adjunct professor at the Community College of the District of Columbia (Ethics, Logic, Critical Thinking) and Lancaster Bible College (Apocalyptic Literature).
